I'm selling my very special 1950 Ford Convertible Custom Chop Top 289 V8. This 1950 Ford was built in Texas by famed Customizer Texas Custom Coachworks for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Once they divorced, many of their marital assets were put up for sale, including this great car.

It is in excellent running condition. They had spared no expense on the mechanical restoration, and had just started getting to the cosmetics when I purchased it. For the past year I have driven it around town and stored it with the upmost of care in my climate controlled auto warehouse, alongside some of the most exotic cars in the world.

This 289 V8 has plenty of pep, giving this rare light weight classic a ton of get up and go. This classic chop drives great and looks great. The 289 pulls strong and is still the beast it was when it was winning street races back in the 50's. This is a strong solid car.

Cosmetically, the paint, chrome and body looks great, but I'd call this a 5 foot car. From 5 feet away the car looks perfect, as you get closer you can see certain imperfections. If I were keeping the car I'd get started having the body reworked and repainted. I think that was Pitt and Jolie's original plan, but they like I never got to it, because I get compliments everywhere I go. There aren't many blemishes to speak of.

There really isn't anything wrong with the car to mention. I'd honestly call this car a 9.5 out of 10 mechanically (with the occasional expected slight oil leaks) and a 6 out of 10 cosmetically. It's a new year and I'm clearing out some old toys to make room for some new ones.

Cars of this age typically don't have titles, they simply come with a bill of sale and are difficult to title and register.

The mileage on the odometer reads 49,363, but I don't know if it is correct as the title says that the mileage is exempt do to the vehicle's age.

As I stated, I am not a dealer. I'm an avid auto collector (as you can see from some of the pictures), that includes some of my other cars.
