Description of 1966 Ford F-250 Red/White

The Pros:There is very little rust. The Body is most likely has 160k miles on the body. Patina under the hood. Everything else is painted and showing no signs of coming through after a year of driving. It seems the previous owner was practicing painting and was more interested in preservation. The best features of the truck are the motor and transmission. Rebuilt by BritCo Racing is a 352FE V-8 w/ ~10k miles on it. New spark plugs. Electronic distributor. 600 CFM Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor w/ manual choke. Starts every time once you get the hang of the choke. 4 gear transmission w/ granny low. New LMC aluminum radiator. Tires have good tread on them. The Cons:Fuel Gauge doesn't work. Needs some electrical work aside from that, but the fuel gauge is the most notable to piss you off. Would recommend performing Whiter Whites and Brighter Brights wiring found on ford-trucks forums.. The inside isnt pretty. It's pretty much just painted metal with a functional seat slapped in there. It is very loud to ride around in, and there is no radio, but it speakers installed for some reason, so aftermarket installation would be a little easier. I don't personally like the bed. It came to me as just the flatbed of fir, so I added pine panels just for functional purposes, but if you like it, more power to ya!
This truck is my daily driver, and it has served me well. It's a blast to drive, gets 11mpg, is loud as hell, and has potential to be restored at a fairly low cost compared to what else is floating out there.
