I was told by the previous owner who had the rebuild done that it was the Volare Twin torsion bar front end with a power disk brake conversion. It is suppose to corner much better than a leaf or coil spring suspension with much less vehicle sway when cornering and the added advantage of being fully 'Ride height adjustable'.
