The car is finished in Corinthian White paint over a gorgeous red leather interior. This 1963 "Bullet Bird" features the Factory 76B Trim Code, which designates the Sports Roadster package. This Sports Roadster package included a removable fiberglass tonneau that covered up the Thunderbird's rear seats and incorporated headr...ests for the front seat occupants into the tonneau cover. This "76B" option also included a passenger side grab bar, Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels with knock-off center caps, and a rear fender skirt delete. This option was highly sought after, as it returned the T-Bird to its roots as a two-seat roadster. Only 455 Thunderbird Sports Roadsters were produced in 1963. This particular 1963 T-Bird has the optional "Z-Code" Thunderbird 390 Special V-8 engine, which features a 4-Barrel Holley Carburetor and single exhaust system. This engine is very powerful, producing 300 horsepower and runs very smoothly. The car also features a Cruise-o-Matic transmission that has just been professionally rebuilt. This rare 1963 Ford Thunderbird Roadster has been beautifully restored to Concours quality. It also has power windows, power driver's seat, and the Thunderbird Swing-Away steering wheel.The car's interior was originally black vinyl, not the red leather that is currently found in the vehicle.
