Description of 1968 Ford Mustang --

Stk 2379 1968 Ford Mustang The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original concept. It was offered as a coupe fastback and convertible. The overall size interior and cargo space were increased and exterior trim changes included concave taillights and side scoops. Our fully restored '68 Mustang is a nice example of this redesigned coupe model. The body was repainted Lamborghini Blue in 2013 and the interior was reupholstered in black and gray vinyl/cloth. Its dash holds a full compliment of factory gauges. The Mustang is powered by a strong running 5.0L Ford small-block that was completely rebuilt in 2015. Upgrades include a mild performance cam Edelbrock single-plane hi-rise aluminum manifold Edelbrock 4-barrel tube headers and custom exhaust. An aluminum radiator handles cooling requirements. Behind the 5.0 is a 3-speed automatic transmission and 9" Ford differential with 3.50:1 Shelby posi-traction gearing. This is a well thought-out performance package and it is strong. Suspension components and upgrades include power steering 4-wheel disc brakes and 17" Foose five-spoke wheels that mount nice radials.
