Description of 1977 Ford E-Series Van CHATEAU |
1977 Ford Econoline E250 4x4 Quadravan Chateau Club wagon. I originally purchased this from the farm country region of Washington. I have driven it maybe 2,500 miles over the last year using it solely as an all-weather dump-runner and for towing other vans back to my lair. I originally purchased this van for its running gear for an ultimate ADV wagon build aimed at the earlier Gen II Club Wagon platform. Since acquiring have purchased (from an isolated sale) the same running gear separately so no longer have any need to mine this rig of its precious unobtainium parts. I have collected several parts cars in my quest for doners and have run out of space in my yard. And so my sickness is revealed. Let the the thinning of the herd commence ! It drives straight, starts easy, idles well, has safe and predictable running gear and will make somebody a sweet addition to their lifestyle. This truck has an aftermarket electronic ignition, twin exhaust and relatively fresh BFG's (standard size) with alluminium centerline wheels. Lockers and transfer case lock in as designed. Also this truck has a shift kit built into its C6 transmission. This truck appears to only have topical rust on the frame. All locks lock, all doors close tightly enough. Wipers, lights and heater work. Radio speakers suck and the paint could use a fresh coat. This truck will require some TLC, doo-hickies and doo-dads throughout. Odometer reads 51,807 and has only five characters, so you be the judge. I bet 151K. I urge you to ask questions and make time to come view it before bidding. This truck is in very good condition for what it is and Yes, It is a great candidate for a full Restore. If you are new to Ebay and have no bidding history or have poor feedback then please contact me or you will be blocked. If you have to ask "What mpg does this car get?" or "what is your reserve?" then this auction is not for you. So please do not ask. I love the Pre-nineties Ford vans and like to talk about them. I will answer any questions you may have as honestly as possible. This truck is ofcourse being sold as-is and without any warranty. I will work with the winner of the auction to assist with shipping arrangements in any way I can. $500 PayPal Deposit must be made within 24 hrs, full payment must be made in cash or PayPal the full balance + 3% for associated Paypal fees. If you meet the criterium and do not win the auction I will make 2nd chance offers to the 2 nearest bidders. Vehicle will be relisted within the week if initial sale falls through. I have a 16 year Ebay history and 100% feedback. I will not be available to show the van March 2nd-4th. Thanks for viewing and happy bidding!
