I acquired this car locally from a Father and Son project but the Son had no interest in the project. He couldn't tell me much about the car other than he purchased the car from an estates sale where it sat for several years and only had 55,000 actual miles. He said he was hoping to encourage his son to become more interested in the project but couldn't convince him. The body and interior are in good condition taking into consideration the car is 40 years old. The soft top is in very nice condition not torn or damaged. The open underside of the hood and trunk lid both have the original bright shiny paint, the trunk floor and floor boards all have the original bright shiny paint, the bumper jack still looks new and shiny, the engine compartment is only dusty and in considerably nice condition. All the lenses are in nice condition no damage, cracks or fading. The glass is all nice no chips or cracks. The tires are in fairly nice condition evenly worn with about 30% tread life left. The bushings as far as I can tell all seem to be in really nice condition. I believe with a little mechanical knowledge and some TLC someone could get this car up and running or have some amazing parts for another project. This Thunderbird is in good condition for its age, good condition "NOT PERFECT" minor imperfections which should be expected on any car with age... Ask all questions before bidding. Car is being sold "as-is" with no warranty and the car is for sale locally as well (the listing might end early). Buyer responsible for local pickup or must arrange shipping services, I will make myself available to meet with the shipping company you provide! Thank you! "BUY IT NOW..."
