The second restoration on this vehicle was completed in 2010 which included a full paint job, rebuilt 350 motor and many other pieces of the build. The owner believes the current motor has right around 20,000 miles on it currently... and it sounds great and turns right over with just a turn of the key. Some of the key details include; a full custom and removable hard top, 1968 Jaguar XKE front suspension, 1968 Jaguar XKE rear suspension, 1968 350 cubic inch V8 bored 60 over with a 580 lift cam and single 4 barrel carb, 400 turbo transmission with 3200 RPM stall, B&M shift kit, DuPont (Hot Hue) / Rutterscotch exterior paint job, hand built tube frame, full custom leather interior, billet specialties, Camaro tilt column, custom designed front and rear seats. The price for a new one was US$500. The Model A was the first Ford to use standard driver controls, such as a gas, brake, and clutch pedal. It was also the first to use safety glass for the windshield. By the end of its production, 4,849,340 were made. The A was powered by a 201 c.i. engine producing 40 hp and reaching a top speed of 65 mph. The transmission was a standard three speed.
