Description of 1960 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

With a great color combo, plenty of luxury features, and a ton of originality, lovers of true classic car distinction will want to pay close attention to this 1960 Ford Thunderbird convertible.
Check out the door tag, this is a real-deal B-code Kingston Blue Metallic car. You're going to need to remember that, because It's the key to this awesomely coordinated total package. These second-generation cars are affectionately called "Squarebirds" because of the sharp angels. But the intricate lines of the wraparound chrome bumpers front and rear reveal there was a lot more going on with this design than its predecessor. More than just these bumpers, there are bright details abound on the T-bird. This includes the little ornaments atop each front fender, the Thunderbird script on the rocket-shaped body side moldings, and the chrome grilles on the rear panels all of which are great reminders of the new jet age. Even the factory wheel covers look great as they showcase the iconic whitewalls. And speaking of iconic, they even added a continental kit to the rear.
The light blue roof looks terrific against the darker blue paint, and when you take it down, it reveals that same great double-blue appeal inside. Beautifully finished buckets, center console, and gorgeous cockpit-style dash the whole convertible has a stylish Lincoln-level of execution. Today it still carries that spirit because the awesomely coordinated two-tone seats have been given a nice investment later in life. The white-faced instruments are fitted into a shiny aluminum panel that looks like a high-end clock face. Plus, there are some great classic elements that are still on display like the AM radio and the factory climate controls. And the features we bet you'll enjoy the most are the power steering and power convertible top. When used together, it means you don't have to leave the driver's seat to go from enclosed luxury to a wind-in-your-hair experience.
Flip up the sporty front-hinged hood to reveal an engine bay full of Ford power. This date-correct V8 looks great with the era-correct bright air topper and matching valve covers. The 352 cubic-inch V8 is part of the debut of Ford's power FE motor program. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, the V8 has all the right power to properly move this droptop. On the road, the dual exhaust gives a hint at the horsepower under the hood, but the T-bird never loses its composure. It floats down the boulevard like a true vintage luxury convertible should. This is aided by the right features such as the three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, and power steering.
Here's one of those great classics that was built to cruise comfortably and look good doing it. So at a price like this, you know you need to hurry to take this classic T-bird home. Call today!!!
