Description of 1966 Ford F-350

1966 Ford F-350 1 Ton Dump Truck. Second owner selling. Second owner bought from original owner relative in 1978. Last time this truck was plated insured and on road operable was in June 2015. Truck has sat in blacktop driveway outside since then. Gas in tank hasn't been changed but truck but will start with fresh gas and battery. Clutch assembly was changed in 2010. Hydraulic dump is operable and has been serviced and greased properly, all 25 fittings, from 1966-2015. Dump bed needs repair from age part of floor is patched with wood and needs to be replaced, tailgate in operable very good shape. 2 inch thick white oak planks on top sides of bed cut at a sawmill specifically for this box. Rear end is a dual wheel 10 and 3/4 Dana with a 4:88 gear. Frame from end to end is solid. All glass on cab is intact. Windshield is approx 10 years old, doors open and close and latch properly, inside of cab is rough but everything is there intact. Gas tank mounted behind seat. Speedometer odometer operable. Wheels are 17 and 1/2 inch with Budd wheels and have 6 lugs. Tires are in operable shape. All the lights work. Truck was originally a straight 6. Second owner upgraded to a 390ci V8 out of a 1968 ford pickup airport service vehicle in 1980. The 390ci has approx. 70,000 miles on it runs sounds great fresh. Intake was upgraded from a 1966 Galaxie intake # C6AE 9425-G. It has a 650 Holley carb on it. Truck was upgraded to Ford electronic ignition. Transmission is 4 speed top loader with first gear as granny gear. Truck empty weighs appox 6000 lbs. Truck has a single master cylinder. Brake shoes and drums have been serviced throughout trucks life. Manual steering and manual brakes. Straight axle front suspension.
