BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION, 292 V8/3SPD OVERDRIVE, RUST FREE RELIABLE DRIVER! This is a beautiful truck as is, or could be an easy project to match the bed to the cab (see details and video). Take a look at the video, pictures, and details below, then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
Cosmetic - Paint/Body: Straight and rust free body. Paint is nice driver quality, consistent from bumper to bumper. Bed is from a 58 F-100 and needs to be lowered about 3 inches to match the stepside. Or would be an easy project to put a 54 bed back on and match the paint to finish the truck original.
- Interior: Clean interior, new carpet kit. Uncut dash. Most of the original gauges work. Seat is older but in good condition with no rips or tears. Needs a headliner.
- Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in like new condition. Windows roll up and down easily.
- Trunk: Beautiful new bed wood and strips. 58 bed as mentioned above.
- Undercarriage: Super clean, rust free original floor pans and frame rails. Cab corners are in great condition, too. only found 1 tiny spot of rust on the whole truck.
- Wheels/Tires: New aluminum wheels with new tires.
Mechanical - Drivetrain: Period correct 272 Y-block V8 (not original to the truck). Starts easily and runs strong. 3-speed with Overdrive all functions properly, shifts through all gears easily. The truck steers straight and is easy to drive.
- Lights/Electrical: All new wiring and fuse box. Mallory electronic ignition. All lights work properly. Electric wipers work too.
- Brakes: Brakes were serviced and stop straight and good.
