Description of 1970 Ford F-100 Custom |
Up for bid is my longstanding project. Hate to get rid of it so close to completion but I owe Uncle Sam! Started out as a straight six three on the tree truck, somewhere along the line it became a four speed with a granny low. That's how it was when I got it. Paid a shop to do the Crown Vic swap, engine swap, basically most of the work done up to this point. Realized that I was spending way too much to have someone else do the work and brought it home. Bought a Ron Francis wiring harness and have gotten it to start. Great candidate for a different tank and rear axle butfor now it is close to being a running, driving truck. Wiring needs to be completed, plumbing complete, and exhaust. Comes with good fenders and a good tailgate, Bullitt Mustang wheels with spacers to put on the current nine inch rear axle.I'll do my best to answer any questions but remember that I didn't do the work myself so may not be able to answer technicalquestions. If you've looked into it it costs a lot to build one of these with all the time and work that goes into a project like this. I know I won't get back what I've put into this but l am in a place where I need to count my losses and move on. Will be listing an 88 Bronco as well so be watching for that! |
