Description of 1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible |
In 1955 Ford created a sensation when it released the Thunderbird. This 2 seat convertible has become an icon in the collector car world and coveted among its owners. This lovely example presents in a stunning color combination of Black over Black and white interior. It has both the hard top and soft top and features: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Seat, Telescopic Steering, Ford O Matic Transmission and Tinted glass. The car has benefited from a restoration some years ago and still looks very good and operates great. The body and underside are rust free and solid as can be. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly. All of the gauges operate and all of the accessories work. The paint shines beautifully and looks great but does show minor imperfections from age and use. The chrome is serviceable and rust free. The interior has a great look to it in its two tone appearance and is very comfortable. This is a great car that has been well cared for and enjoyed. The last 2 owners have had it for the past 30 years and treasured it during that time. If you're looking for a great, "fun in the sun" classic, this is your car.
