Description of 1986 Ford Mustang Gt LX

You are bidding on a 1986 Mustang. 302 V8. 5 speed manual T5. this vehicle runs and drives fine. engine runs strong and does not knock or smoke. motor appears to be completely stock. Transmission shifts fine and clutch is good. The odometer reads almost 51k miles. carfax came back clean with no accidents reported and no odometer fraud. it has weld wheels. tires have more than half life left. nice cowl fiberglass hood. I purchased this vehicle to build a race car. but decided it was too nice to tear apart. It seems that someone attempted to restore this car but did not 100% finish it. there are missing odds and ends. This is a used car and needs some work to make it perfect. upon inspection of the car we noticed that the previous owner has painted the car. you can see signs of over spray in certain spots. the paint job looks ok but has blemishes and scuffs in certain areas. the car will need headliner. windshield trim. and side marker lenses. also its missing front ford badge. There is a gap where passenger door closes and hood needs to be aligned. center console is loose. radio does not work. nbsp;there are some cracks in the dash. The grey leather seats are in good shape. besides the driver seat which has a tear in it. I would give this car a overall condition of 7 out of 10. Please inspect pictures . I just want to be clear that this car will need some work to be perfect but its a great base for your restoration.
