Description of 1973 Ford Bronco --

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION we have for sale a fun little 1973 Bronco. It comes with the original full hard top, a pickup top and the bikini top with door eliminators, we do have the doors. Its power by a strong running 302 engine out of my sons 1989 Mustang GT, connected with a automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive, it is power steering and power brakes. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? I can tell you the history from about 15 years back. A...local painter that I know built the Bronco. He put a decent green metallic paint job on, new seat covers, installed a engine that he bought from my son and more. He got tired of it and sold it to a good friend of mine that keep it for about 10 years. He decided to sell it and a Mustang and we made a deal. HOW IS THE BODY RUST WISE? I see no rust bubbles in the paint, all the panels look original and solid to me. The frame looks solid and straight. The floor pans look very good, some rusty color metal on the under side, but it looks very solid. The under side is not detailed and beautiful, but solid. HOW IS THE PAINT? The Bronco has always been stored inside, so it look very nice. I could tell you it was painted 1 year ago and it would be believable. It has never been rubbed and buffed so it does have some orange peel. The shine is extra good, the dark green has lots of metallic. I would consider it nice driver quality, but not perfect roll out to the trailer show queen quality. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! TACHOMETER WORKS! OIL GAUGE WORKS! HORN WORKS! GAS GAUGE IS NOT WORKING! RADIO LIGHTS UP, BUT DOES NOT PLAY! 2 GAS TANKS ON THE BRONCO, need new gas caps. HOW IS THE ENGINE? The builder bought it from my son about 15 years ago. It is out of a 1989 Ford Mustang GT. My son said he thinks it only had 30 something thousand miles on it. Past owners said the Bronco had less than 1,000 miles since it built. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Not new, but good. Seat covers show no bad wear, carpet fine, dash pad is a soft cover. WHAT ABOUT THE TOPS? The small soft top on it was both past owners favorite. They liked the look with it and no doors, it does have the door eliminator covers installed. Bronco comes with 2 other tops, 1. pickup top, it has the back window, but needs rubber, it is painted. 2. Full original top comes with it, it need paint. WHAT ABOUT THE WHEELS AND TIRES? Nice aluminum wheels with tires that have very good tread. The tires are starting to show age with some cracks. DOORS are painted and come with glass. Past owner said the 4 wheel drive works! HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It automatic and works good. HOW DOES IT DRIVE? It is power steering and drives the way they did in 1973. HOW DOES IT STOP? Power brakes are fine, it is 4 wheel drums.

DOORS ARE PAINTED AND NICE, windows and metal door panels come with Bronco, door handles and latches look right, no vent windows. WHERE IS THE BRONCO LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. CONTACT INFORMATION: TELEPHONE cell is 423-506-8987, please no Sunday calls. DIRECT EMAIL is dreamcar@live.com BOTTOM LINE is that this is not a original Bronco, engine has been changed and color. In my opinion it is very solid, I see no rust issues causing a problem. It looks great, it run great and it has all the tops.
