Description of 1968 Ford F-100 Ranger |
1968 Ford F-100 Ranger Short Wheel Base Beautiful Short Bed!! I am selling my 1968 Ford F100 Ranger. It is a very nice, solid truck. It always starts right up on the first turn and a lot of fun to drive. It has a stunning look with the two-tone red and white. It was restored to the original colors of Rangoon Red and Wimbledon White. It has the original 360 engine, with the automatic C6 transmission and power steering. It runs and drives great and is very quick. Most of the chrome is new. It has brand new tires. The paint is excellent and has a deep shine. The engine runs good and does not smoke. Good brakes, new shocks. It has dual chrome exhaust. It has an original AM radio, which I did not replace because I did not want to alter the original dash holes. It has all of the air conditioning, but I have not tried to get it working. The inside bottom of the bed has been coated with bed liner. The inside bottom of the bed has some dents and imperfections, but it is just on the bottom of the bed, not the wheel wells or sides. It also has a rubber bed mat. There is no rust on the floor boards or anywhere under the truck. It’s one of the most solid old trucks that you will find. I have recently installed a new water pump (because the old one was leaking) and a new fuel pump. The engine runs great and transmission shifts excellent. The odometer shows 69,000 miles, but I am not sure of the exact mileage. The windshield is good, but it does have a small glaze color at the bottom edge on the driver’s side, barely above the rubber. It’s about ¼ inch over the rubber and not real noticeable. I have a clear Arkansas title for the truck and it is in my name. The buyer is responsible for shipping. I require a $500 deposit through Paypal as soon as the auction ends. If you do not have Paypal, please do not bid. If you have zero purchases on Ebay, please do not bid. I will accept a Bank Wire, a U.S. Bank Money Order or Cashiers Check. I must have cash if it is picked up in person. If you have any questions you can call or text me at 501-804-5654. I live in Roland, Arkansas, which is right outside of Little Rock. It is a beautiful truck and I think it looks better in person than it does in the pictures. I think the winning bidder will be very satisfied with this truck. I have 4 videos of the truck on YouTube.
