This is a 3 owner car. The original owner from California kept the car until approximately 2002. We have paperwork to show this. The car then went to it's second owner in Nevada where it was rarely driven and was kept in his driveway under a tarp. The current owner purchased it from him in 2008 and it has been in Texas since that time. He began the restoration and completed it in 2013. It has again been driven very little.
This is a very nice Mustang. It was an on frame restoration . You will see some of the restoration photos at the end of the ad.
Scott Drake wood and aluminum steering wheel. There are a few items that still need addressing. The emergency brake handle is broken, and there are a few items missing from the dash. There is an original 8 track player that is in need of rebuilding included.
New dash
The door undersides are rust free.
The remote mirror is working.
Original dash tag as well as door tag
The trunk is solid. There is no spare or jack.
The crate 302 ci engine from Jasper, runs great. I personally drove the car for videos and this is a great car mechanically. The core support is solid.
The American Racing wheels and Copper Cobra tires are all new, with very few miles on them. There were all new brakes just recently installed on the car within the last month.
There is a whole new exhaust system.
The floors are solid as you will see in the restoration photos at the end of the ad.
Here are just some of the photo of the car before restoration. As you can see by the photos, the car was a rust free car to begin with.
This was the almost finished product. The owner decided to put new tires and wheels on the car.
The following items are also going with the car.
This was an A/C car, so all of the parts are included, but we have no idea if the compressor is good or not.
