Known as "The York Coupe" this is an untouched 61 year old custom build dating back to 1957. Built in York, PA. in East Coast style, it'schanneled 6" over its original frame but unchopped. All body work was done in lead. It has a rare Edmunds 2x4 intake, a 1952 Chrysler 331 Hemi engine and a '39 Ford 3 speed trans and 46 Ford Banjo rear. '40 Ford brakes and "weedburner" headers. It has a sectioned 1949 Merc dash and pie crust slicks. Seat upholstery is original as well as the paint- GM Bahama Blue. A V'ed chrome spreader bar rides below the tall headlight mounts. Nerf bars are at the rear. Filled roof from a '49 Plymouth station wagon. '37 Hudson Terraplane steering box. '49 Mercury dashboard with sun style tach.
