Description of 1935 Ford Other 3 Window Coupe |
Very nice Traditional 1935 Ford 3 Window Coupe. Updated to be able to drive on today's roads but still kept period correct for the most part. Tons of work just completed on this car. It is dialed-in and ready to be enjoyed. It was going to be a forever-keeper but life happens. This car is not perfect but is a very nice driver quality and something to be proud of. 59AB Flathead with adjustable lifters, Edmunds dual carb intake, Mallory pointless distributor, new headers and new dual exhaust. 39 transmission. Radiator has just been re-cored and was converted to a pressurized system with a 4 psi cap. Newly rebuilt COLUMBIA 2 SPEED rear end! Don't want anyone to miss that life-changing upgrade! Having the 2-speed rear end in this car is amazing. This car can drive on the freeway and keep up with traffic (even in CA LOL). Electrical was converted to 12v and it currently has a single wire GM alternator. Turn signals have been added but the front signals are not hooked up. 12v Halogen headlight conversion was done. This is a great upgrade because it is so much brighter at night and the upgrade cannot be seen. It still looks 100% original from the outside. 39 pedals were added when the hydraulic brake conversion was done. New master cylinder, all new brake lines, new brake shoes and all rotors have been turned. All new Firestone 6.50 whitewalls installed. Freshly powder coated 1940s solid 16" rims with very nicely restored original lion caps. Seats and door panels are an awesome diamond tucked interior that looks like it was done in the 70.s but has held up very well and is still in very nice condition. The carpet is new. The front has been lowered with an original drop axle. The back has been lowered with a reverse eye spring, removing couple leafs, and lowering shackles. New original style temp gauge but this is the only gauge currently working. Car has current registration and a clean title in my name. The 1935 CA license plates are assigned to the car and will be included in the sale of the car ONLY IF I SELL THE CAR TO SOMEONE WHO IS IN CA AND WILL USE THEM. LICENSE PLATES NOT INCLUDED IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN CA. Please feel free to call me for more info about the car 858 four05-7740 Thanks Rob |
