Description of 1955 Ford Other Customline

1955 Ford custom line cpe. It has been modified by replacing the 6 cyl. engine with a early model 390 cid FE Big Block . with a 4 speed manual transmission . original rear end. reached springs. new shocks. all New Brake system and lines. Battery is in the trunk ( don't know why ) It is a radio delete car with heater and defrost. new factory style carpet. All the Chrome is new or redone. It has A New complete Custom exhaust system front to rear. It has a new Windshield and all the gaskets and other glass a very good. The engine has electronic ignition. new wires. plugs & 50. 00 volt coil . all new. It also has a new timing roller chain and both gears. It has A New Aluminum radiator. runs very correct temp with out electric fans No smoke or noise. except the pipes are Power Loud. Hey. its a Hot Rod ! It has 4 new radial. 4 new chrome rims with spider centers. The Body was done right and then an amateur finished the panels. a little wavy where New quarters where installed. The undercarriage is as clean as can be. I was going to rust proof it. but that way you couldn't see all the good metal to believe it. The paint job was done by the same amateur . it is a ten footer. as was never clear coated or rubbed out. . hey now you have an excuse to change the color . right ? The interior needs to be restored door panels headliner. seats. The dash is all stock not cut up or drilled into. The car is a driver as is. but I would put a 4 BBL on it as it would run better to its potential and get better mileage. I thought I might keep it when I took it in trade. for another car I had. but I have too many projects at my age. Bid it up have fun. call me with any questions.
