This was my grampa's truck. I got it when he passed away. It was in bad shape then. It has been sitting where I parked it under a series of tarps of varying degrees of water resistance for over 25 years. He used it to launch his runabout into salt water. It is very eaten-up with rust. I doubt there is a body panel, frame rail or suspension component that is worth saving without extraordinary effort. Not kidding. Look at the bottom edge of the hood or the bed. Open or close the hood & you will hear falling rust chips. The bed and tailgate are almost rusted away. Much of the cab floor is rusted through and there appears to be some rust-through in the frame beneath the bed. There is lots of rust through and deep pitting. I don't think it will ever be a truck again. I'm offering it for sale because there may be bits of trim, glass, knobs, other items inside & out that may be of value to someone's restoration project. Engine, tranny and differential internals may be of use as well. There could also be other salvageable items. Not sure. Pretty sure the engine does not want to turn. It has a badge from Center Ford of Newport News & original keys and key number medallion. It will roll. You must take all of it. Will not sell parts. Must be hauled using flatbed. Local pickup only. If you are not local please consider the cost of transporting to your location when you bid. It is up to you to pick up & transport it.
