Description of 1984 Ford F-150 |
Clean 1984 Ford F-150 Short Bed Upgraded to 351 Windsor and Automatic PS, PB, Air Conditioning Great for the F-150 Collector Truck is located in Mountain Home, Arkansas (Baxter County). Vehicle is sold "as is, where isâ€. No test drives (not insured). Has clear Arkansas title. Buyer is responsible for delivery. Seller will make himself available to help as needed. Truck is straight and clean. Daily Driver. Guy I got it from is a Ford / Mustang fan, he didn't like the 4.9 6-cylinder motor and had a 351 Windsor roller motor in his shop (from a 90s Bronco), so he installed that. He put a 2 bbl. on top (manual choke) and when I asked why, was told it was what he had available (had a 4 bbl. setup, but that was going on a Goldwing / S10 trike he had put a V8 in). Has appx. 22K miles on V8 / auto drivetrain. Truck came with a 4-speed (creeper) manual and he liked automatics (he's older like me and tired of shifting), so he put in an automatic with floor shifter. Shifter is a simple factory-look piece. 2 forward gears (PRNDD, you could push it from drive through neutral into reverse while driving, so no kids playing with the shifter when running.) He left the clutch pedal in place, pushed out of the way and secured, so can easily be put back to standard trans (Great in case you ever want a 4 or 5 speed). Truck has Power Steering, Power Brakes, and Air Conditioning AC needs a charge or could be compressor. Body is straight, no big dents or rust. Paint is nice (Ford Medium Desert Tan). Arkansas truck, garaged most of its life, and never saw salted roads down here. Bed is not beat up, and they sprayed a flat black paint over it (not a bed liner). Glass is very good. Windshield has two tiny chips that might be able to fix with injection repair. Interior shows nicely. Gauges work. They put a factory look seat cover on it. New carpet set. Touched up plastic door panels with plastic paint (you can see where they touched it up, but not terrible). Dash is good, has a couple small cracks. They put a CD player in it. Have a bunch of original paperwork: Spec sheet, window sticker, receipt, brochures, etc. Thank you for taking your time to look, and if you have any questions please write.
