1970 F 100 Ranger XL, with camper options that includes factory hold down s on the front of the bed and rear bumper hold downs, towing mirrors, in bed wired, tool box build in bed, dual fuel tank, and a cargo light. This great survivor has a 360 V 8 with a automatic transmission, loaded for the time with power steering, power brakes, and under dash added ice cold air conditioning. My senior friend finely decided to let this great find go, so I am helping him sell it as I have experience on eBay motors . This truck is a real find I have done the following to help him sell i, I waxed the older repaint from years ago ( seen some minor repair work on left door not much) repainted with the right paint code the door jams, I painted over the ageing and to many body molding s looks much better without all the molding s. and touched up just a few chip's here and there. All glass is good . The 275/ 60/15 tires are almost new and mounted on 10 inch wide alloys with a 9 inch tread they look awesome, has air bags on the rear for pulling that classic boat or trailer around was going to coat the bed with a matching bed paint from Auto zone but once I realized how little work the bed would take to repaint I decided just to paint the sides only leaving the front and tail gate as found because the condition of the bed is rare indeed very little to make like new. I have pictures of the full bed before the minor paint work. I myself would box in the sides and call it good. Very minor rust in the very front just through the paint no metal damage. check out the tail gate. I am sure this truck was bought for the camping pleasure and not for work or running around, it probably had a small camper on it forever, I have no idea on miles it shows 26k on the cloc, and the brake pedal wear it not to excessive . Check out the door seals in original condition. Every item works as it should except the cigarette lighter and the turn signal cancel. Even the dome light and cargo light work as well as the am radio. My friend owned this truck for 11 years and used it for pulling his folding trailer to go camping and a little yard work now and then says he's done nothing except had the carb rebuilt a while back it starts right up with no noise or smoke just sounds good and strong, the transmission shifts as it shoul, and really he says and I really believe you could drive this home to anywher, I would normally discourage that but after having this truck to drive for 2 weeks I wouldn't hesitate to drive this anywhere. There are no body rattles or sweet, So it drives as good as it looks so moving on to what it might nee, the transmission pan gasket seeps a little and is due for a new gasket, brakes are good but master cylinder might be due also you feel bleed through and pedal will drop a bit easy job low cost, turn signal cancel cam (cheap) other trim items would be carpet sill plate, and new door arm rest. I have had 4 other guys look at the truck and averaged out there opinion and we agree that the truck panels ect are very good for a almost 50 year old truck. The interior needs nothing it has a older reupholstery on the seat and head liner done it a diamond patter, carpet looks to be almost ne, we are saying its a 10 footer and looks good from that distance and would be a simple restoration, however most agreed to just leave it alone and enjoy it as it is .Would look great with a simple rear axel flip to level it out. I have many more pictures ect just cal, there is 4 small rust areas you can . The reserve is very low on the truck as we would like it sold this sale. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS TRUCK UNLESS YOU CAN COMPLETE DEAL AS AGREED I DON'T NEED THE GRIEF. Call or text for details on that. Call 801 628-6183 anytime 24/7 for more pictures or information.
