Description of 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

Up for sale is a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. I have the Marti Report, it is an original Mach 1. I have had it for 14 years and only put 2,500 miles on it. During that time is has been in a heated garage. The fellow I bought it from said it was garaged for 13 years, but I can't confirm that info. It has a 351 Cleveland engine from a 1970 mach 1. Original color was Silver Jade, now PPG emerald.

3 speed FMX automatic, power steering, power front disc brakes, 3.00 axle ratio.

It takes a little coaxing to start when cold, but starts and runs well once it is warmed up and has a great sound, feel the rumble. I have a clean NH antique title, the car is currently registered and inspection sticker is good until April 2019. Please write if you want to see the car before the end of auction.

I don't need to sell the car, I just spend more time fishing on my boat these days.

Want someone to enjoy the car ! Like Carrol Shelby said, mustangs are meant to be driven!

Things to do:

There is some smoke from the left exhaust, guessing valve guides.

Install included radio, NOS JVC cassette player with bracket and bezel

Install included heater core, need heater hoses ( I didn't bother because I only drove on sunny days)

Interior needs some TLC, need a new dash, A pillar plastic

Temp and alt gauges not working

Driver's door needs aligning (see photo)

Couple of small (2 inch) sections of seat seams separated

Add Manual choke cable?, I have always just reached under the air cleaner to open / close choke

For the "to do" column, in response to some of the questions, I can't post more photos, but can send them to you directly through ebay system, driver's seat has about a 1 inch hole on the side, floors are solid with some rust butcould do with some cleaning and paint, the steering wheel is an original "rim blow" I unplugged the wire to the original horns, and installed the air horns, they sound great, please keep the questions coming, or come see the car, thanks!
