Description of 1977 Ford F-100 Ranger |
Selling a 1977 Ford F100 Stepside (Flareside). Running project Odometer reads 91406. I am pretty certain that has turned over. 351M engine - runs, but ready for a rebuild. Runs and makes good power, rattles on highway, oil pressure drops way low when hot at idle - doesn't knock though. C6 Automatic - shifts ok. Tends to stack shift. Leaks fluid around pan New axle bearings and seals in the 9" rear last summer Interesting 70's paint scheme, was a conversion done by some company named Contempo. What little I could find about them is that they were a conversion van company, still has the majority of the paint job...but faded. Interior is pretty decent, seat has been replaced, and carpet - about 5 years ago New front brakes, rotors, calipers, hoses master cylinder and bearings done around the same time (five years ago). It has only been driven probably 3000 miles since then Rear shoes, drums, wheel cylinders and hardware done at the same time as the above mentioned work, as well as new radius arm bushings, alignment and drag link. Good tires - 235/75R15 Wildcats on aluminum wheels Rust free for the most part. The only rust I can see is where the bed panels meet on the side by the steps. Check out the photos. Edelbrock performer manifold and carburetor Good project, with not much work, a good driver. The suspension and braking system are good to go. Don't see these old stepside Fords much anymore. Clear title in my name, in hand. Current Oregon registration. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Buyer is responsible for any and all transport of vehicle. $500 Deposit required by Paypal within 72 hours of auction end, with full payment received within 7 days I accept Paypal, certified cashier's check, and cash (in person).
