Description of 1971 Ford Bronco |
Very nice original truckRuns great.. nice power ... Original bench seatOriginal Bulkhead that makes it atruck versionBrand New tires 31'sOriginal 6cylOriginal trans with 3 on the tree shift great(column lever has littleplay but doesn't affect shifting at all)All original metal Body is ingoodoriginal shapeBrand New carbBrand New upgraded ignition moduleNew tune upNew valve seals recent ..Head and tail and stop Lights all workAdded mechanical oil and temp gauges.. these are much more reliable than the original.Speedo works.. Negatives i can say are; It has some dings here and there.. The side marker lights and blinkers dont work. Could be bulbs. But I haven'tmessed with them to get them going yet. I do see where the old type glass fuses are and they look old. May just need to be changed to fix that. It has one repair inside on driver floor... It is s solid fix. Only on seam. Its basicaly a metal patch put over that center seam. Not sure if was from rust or a weak seam. But its the line seam directly under where your feet rest when u are sitting in the driver seat. Ive seen many of these trucks and that seam is usually first spot needing attention. I dont see rust anywhere and ive been all over it. Not saying thats absolute but trying to give full disclosure It drives well but is an old truck and of course drives like one (its not a toyota-lol).. It'll sometimes give youa puff of smoke when you take off.. I did research bc that kind of stuffbugs me.. I found that these older 6 cyl engines were designed that way. The "umbrella" type valve seals i just changed out to fix that were old and cracked were as it said online designed to leak a little in order to oil the valve stems. I have a set of doors thatneed work and come with it. One has a dent and the window frames have been removed but they go with the Bronco. The speedo works but the other guages on that cluster dont. I added more efficient temp and oil pressure guages. Again it may just be the old fuses. But not sure. no top. And glass has 2 round rock chips. No cracks but the round type that I assume are fillable. All this is figured into the price. And i want to give best info i can. It runs great now. And is rdy to drive and have fun with. Brakes have all been gone thru and it has new master and wheel cyls. Bearngs just greased. All Works well but are stock. If u get on them real real hard they pull a little one way but that will wear in once its driven a bit. Or of course u can manually adjust them if u wish. Ive got em real close. I have no reserve. I dont play that game. 15k is lowest ill take. Also this entire add is from my prospective. You are welcome to come see it and drive it. In fact i would recommend it. From my point of view its priced very well but that is me. You may have higher or lower standards. It of course is of great value to Most people. We all know what these normally go for. I will work with YOUR shipper. Ive done so on many other sales and know how it all works. Im in auburn calif. 95603. If u win bid please make your non refundable depisit timely so we both know your serious. Dont bid if u are not sure. It costs alot to run these adds.It sold last time and they guy didn't come thru.. So that was a scam... If your profile new call me first.. |
