Description of 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 |
WOW!!!!! 1970 Mustang MACH 1 Deluxe Marti report 351 M Code 4V 4BBL Automatic FMX White with Black Clarion Knit/Corinthian Bucket seats Rear sport deck fold down seat Rear window louvers and spoiler Factory A/C (not finished) Black hood stripe and fixed scoop You are looking at my 1970 Mustang Mach 1 I purchased as a project a year ago and it needed a lot!!!! First of all It is a true Mach 1 63C with a correct 351 "M" code 4V and FMX automatic. The engine NOT numbers matching to the VIN is completely rebuilt with all new pistons rings bearings cam lifters rocker arms oil pump correct carb fuel pump water pump freeze plugs valves guides and seats and of course gaskets and seals. New gas tank and sender. The trans was also rebuilt with convertor also. All newer brakes lines master and booster as well as distribution valve. The interior is all new including Door panels front seat foam front and back upholstery carpet headliner sun visors and fold down carpet and chrome. The body has had extensive work including new rear quarters drop offs tail panel doors fenders hood and valances. The only floor piece it needed was R/F toward toe section. frame rails and torque boxes were great. It was painted Base Clear in white and sanded and buffed. The wiring was all gone through and replaced front and rear harnesses but not dash. Gage cluster was cleaned and new circuit board and bulbs. Clock was rebuilt and works great. The Only issue it has is the A/C is all there under dash but no engine components, and heater core developed a leak so it is bypassed now. I think it would be a great time to do Vintage Air conversion. Or you can have the box removed and replace heater core and add all the correct A/C components to keep it original. The wheels and tires are New Magnum 500s from Kentucky Mustang and look awesome. They are 7" front with 225 60 15 and 8" rears with 245 60 15. BEST look for the Mach's I think. The car just got finished and has only a few miles on it now so may need a few tweaks here and there before fully daily drivable. Deluxe Marti Report and clean clear title in hand. Also I have ALL receipts for parts and machine work put in the car and they can go with it. Car located in Champaign, Urbana Illinois and available for inspection. I have a lift and you can call me at 217-418-6063 if needed. Winner responsible for shipping and I can help on this end. Non Refundable Deposit of $500.00 due after winning bid and remainder in cash of guaranteed funds before car leaves.
