If you have never heard of a 7-UP Edition Ford Mustang, well let me introduce you to one of the rarest Fox Body Mustangs in existence. Originally only 30 7-UP Mustangs were meant to be produced carrying the obvious soft drink manufacturer's name. They were meant to be a promotion between the two companies at the 1990 NCAA Men's Basketball finals. Basically, nail a half-court shot and get a free car. For unknown reasons, the promotion was cancelled at the... last minute and at the time only two had been produced. Ford decided to go on with the promotion and bump production to 4,103 of the 7-UP editions. They called it the Limited Edition 7-UP Convertible and they were only produced in 1990. This 1990 Mustang is one of these rare limited editions and carries with it only 19,000 actual miles! The 7-UP Mustangs were LX convertibles equipped with the famous Fox Body era 5.0L V8 engines that cranked out 255 horsepower. All the cars were painted Ford's Deep Emerald Green clear coat metallic paint and featured Oxford white leather interior and a white convertible top, making them instantly recognizable. The Front Fascia, outside mirrors and body side moldings were painted to match the green exterior and the GT's 15" aluminum wheels were bolted to the car. The car retailed at $19,878. This example is even more rare because it left the factory with a 5-speed manual transmission. Of the 4103 7-UP Editions, only 1,360 had a stick. Look over this car closely and you'll see its a borderline time capsule! The original paint is still in amazing shape, the interior shows little to no wear and everything still works! The sale also includes the Marti Report, Original pre-delivery service records, pre-delivery checklist, original warranty information, original trade-in information (first owner traded a 1969 Mustang convertible in on this 90), original Ford ownercard, Original owner's manual and original Ford Atlas Map. Don't miss your chance to own this one-of-a-kind Mustang! Contact Shelton Classics & Performance at 877-496-5680 or for more information DOES IT WORK?
