Description of 1986 Ford F-150 |
For sale is a 1986 Ford F-150 2WD truck. This has the longer bed. The truck needs to be restored or could be parted out (though admittedly I hope someone will get her running again. I would but I have enough vehicles and too many other things that require my time and money). This was a great truck and could be again. It does not run now, though the last time I hooked it up to a battery the engine did turn over. It's been sitting for roughly 14 years. Nothing was wrong with it; I simply didn't need it any more and held onto it for years thinking I might restore it. The truck has a 4-speed manual transmission with a 300 C.I. straight-6 engine. The truck came equipped with air conditioning but when that quit working the compressor was removed and never replaced, so to have AC a new compressor would need to be purchased. It has dual gas tanks but back when I was still driving it one of them had started leaking so I was only using one. It has a bench seat. It comes with the pictured cab. The rear window slides open in the middle. The truck came equipped with power windows and locks. When I was last driving her the locks worked but the motors on both windows needed to be replaced. It has an AM/FM radio; no cassette. When I decided to sell it I couldn't find the title, so I applied for a copy today. It should be here by early next week (the week of the 20th). The truck is located in Moberly, Missouri. A buyer will be expected to come and get it. That's all I can think to list off the top of my head. If you have questions please feel free to send me a message. |
