Description of 1931 Ford Model A Sedan |
Up for sale Is my 31 ford Rat rod project car, this is a real steel body with matching model A frame. RedRam Hemi powered. So far over $25k invested into this baby!!! No Reserve !! Please bid to win. Body: real steel 1931 ford model a blind back sedan, chopped 4 inches and channeled 6 inches, no rust or body rot! Just great Patina! All original wood has been removed and replaced with steel ( even the roof ribs). The floors are custom built from a early 60's era ford truck bed. ( very cool and unique ) Frame: original model a frame, fully boxed with a 10 inch z out back. Heavy duty crosses members and tranny mounts with driveshaft loop. Engine / transmission: Hemi 241 RedRam ( fully rebuilt) less then 500 miles on the engine. 3 deuce carbs ( only middle one is functional) custom lakester headers. Tranny. 700r4 4 speed auto, with shift kit. Fuel system: custom spun aluminum 12 gal tank with custom brackets to a electric fuel pump Axle: front is stock model A, rear is a ford 9 rear end with locker and 355 gears Suspension: front is stock model a. Speed way shocks on all 4, Back is full Ride Tech Air ride system! ( Lays frame ) Brakes: All swapped over to juice brakes, 60's f-100 ford drum brakes all the way around. Lug pattern is 5x5.5 Wheels / tires: model B wire spokes (16 & 17) powder coated red. Tires are firestone whitewall Interior: Model a dash with ford gauges, 23 tall loker shifter, speed way bomber seats, hotrod style seat belts. ( belts are not installed) 4 spoke hot rod tape wrapped steering wheel with quick release . Once again this is still a project car. Still needs a few odds and ends to finish up. Here is a list of what it needs.( wiring harness, Drive shaf, tranny cooler lines, Front glass.). This was originally a Kansas car that was last on the road in late 1980. Vintage (Over 35 years) vehicles in Kansas only have bills of sale and registration. I have the Kansas plate and all bills of sells including my bill of sale.
