Description of 1961 Ford Falcon deluxe

This is an incredibly stock and original survivor. I have never seen a Falcon that presents as nicely as this one. The Aquamarine is just so right for this time period. I purchased it from a gentleman that bought it from an estate where the owners had passed away. Those sweet old folks must have pampered this car because it shows very little signs of any wear. Look at the interior, seats and carpet. The door panels etc. Even the trunk mat is original and looks very nice. They were very particular abut how they cared for this little falcon. All the glass is in incredible condition. Back in the day we used to call a car like this a "cream puff" and it fits that description admirably.
It has 97,000 miles but has been so well maintained and cared for, it looks like it might only have a fraction of that. Just look at the pictures. I'm amazed a car this old can be in this incredible condition.
It has the standard 144 cu in 6 cylinder that starts right up and purrs like a kitten. I just rebuilt and adjusted the 1 barrel carb. The trans shifts smoothly. The steering is manual and feels very solid. The brakes stop well.Overall this little Falcon runs and drives as good as she looks.
Just to make sure everything was totally up to snuff I put on a new full exhaust system, a new battery and detailed the engine compartment. The trunk emblem was faded so I replaced it with a quality reproduction. I even hand painted the white lettering on the hub caps because they were chipped a little here and there. I have the radio that came in the car when I purchased it but I decided to upgrade to a RetroSound AM/FM radio and new speaker. I also installed color coordinated seat belts up front for safety's sake.
I have a pretty decent sized collection of cars in my stable and I just have not been able to drive her as often as she deserves. It's time for a new owner to take over the reigns and continue to drive and care for her.
I am proud of my 100% positive feed back and I've tried to describe this beautiful little Falcon as honestly as possible. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. The buyer is responsible for shipping but I can assist the shipper in loading etc.
Thank you.
