Description of 1941 Ford Other 2 Dr Coupe |
NO RESERVE!!! BID TO OWN!!! HIGH BIDDER = NEW OWNER!! 1941 Ford 2 door Coupe After reading the entire ad, if you have any questions call Clint @ 610-763-8277 For your consideration is a timeless, and Iconic 1941 Ford Coupe. She is for the most part completely stock, freshened up in the late 1990's by the previous owner. Equipped with its stock drive train Flathead V8, 3 speed manual column shift transmission, stock frame, rear, front end, etc. This beauty is not a trailer queen or a Barrett Jackson $100k restomod. However, shes not a set out in the middle of a field with the grass grown up around her. Though a great piece to drive, promote your business, and write off as a business expense, this Ford is a super clean driver that you could enjoy for the next 20 years as-is, or drop a crate motor and build that restomod or hard core Hotrod you've always wanted. This is a super solid car at every angle. The Maroon paint is Maaco driver quality from 15 years ago but as you can see in the pics shines at any angle. Its got depth and gloss, some flaws and battle scars, but still shows well. To put it simply, its just a cool old cruiser. I call this kind of car a block-or-more, or a 10 footer. From 10 feet away, it looks like a $40k Streetrod! Undercarriage is very clean, straight, & finished in flat black and a light undercoat consistent with a factory finish. No issues, holes, rot, no sloppy patch panels, shows as it should with correct stamped steel. The engine bay has a black finish that looks great when you pop the hood at local cruise nights! It rides, drives, and handles like a 1940's Ford would. This isn't something you would drive across country. With that being said, I do take this to local cruise nights and car shows, and its an absolute blast to drive. I've had $100,000 cars in the past that didn't get nearly the attention this Ford receives. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges, wipers, etc are functioning properly - except fuel gauge. It could be the sending unit or the gauge itself. Engine fires right up with the push of a button, no smoking, ticking, noises, etc. Has that fantastic iconic Flathead sound. Transmission shifts as it should, smooth with no grinding or issues. Doors fit nice and have that distinct sound when they close. The Interior is finished nice and clean with Grey Bucket seats, and black carpet. Insulation is up, but would need a headliner. No rear seat, but is finished with carpet. New Brake lines. Fresh Service including all fluids. Factory Master Cyl. New Battery and has a 6 volt system. The only thing I feel the car needs to drive more often is new tires. They are old, and would buy new ones right away. I'm not a fan of the wheels, but that's a personal taste item. Other items, but not crucial to driving everyday are; the fuel gauge not working, drivers side window cracked. Overall, this Ford is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of a pretty much turnkey car that is low maintenance and can be driven and enjoyed at an affordable price point. Whether you're looking for an everyday driver, something to work on and build a show car in stages as you drive, or a business write of, this Beauty can do it all!! Turn key, drive home today, ready to enjoy immediately! RE-LIVE THE GLORY DAYS!! Use for promotion and write it off as a business expense!! Rent out for weddings or events!
