Description of 1979 Ford F-100 F-100 Custom Automatic, PS, PB, A/C

This truck practically has both a new motor and transmission, of course they are remanufacturedbut almost fresh out of the crate with less than 50 miles on both. So this Driveline is practically brand new. The engine is a 351 Windsor with p erformance lifters, rockers, valves, a high performance cam, Performance + (plus) intake manifold high-rise for max in/out (yeah!) and Polished to a T, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor for high performance, the Holley 4-barrel carburetor has an installed automatic chok, the engine has been converted from V-drive to Serpentine Drive which adds more horsepower, the engine has all high performance parts Including a high spark ignition, the F100 come standard With an automatic transmissio, power steering, power brakes which have all been gone through. I have had this truck for years but recently installed the engine and transmission when they were completed . As you can see, the engine is completely chromed-out and the block is painted Ford blue and the entire portion of the firewall and engine housing area has been degreased, cleaned and painted. The truck has an aftermarket heater core installed on the outside of the firewall so you don't have to dig it out it's actually in a pretty convenient location, it's kind of cool, if the heater core ever goes out it's easy to replace .I started this project truck many years back when I purchased the vehicle for its antique value alone. It's a straight truck, it's lines run true and I think it has a lot of potential. The floor pans are rusted as is the front of the bed which is indicative of this year model. The 1979 F-100 leaned toward the front, a little forward in the front and water had a tendency to pile along the front part of the bed and the floor pans were particularly exposed to road spray. Good truck. Awesome engine & transmission; alone over $6,000.00

I posted more pictures today of the rocker panels and a few rust spots. I want to make it very clear that the rocker panels are in good shape but there is some Rust spots they go all the way through on the floor panels I currently have those covered up with a piece of aluminum on each side. I have also been honest about the front of the bed and I'm not going to take out the bed liner it's about the size of a football at the front corner of the bed and it can be repaired or you know the beds in good shape it's strong and the floor of the bed is in good shape that's why I've hit the bed liner in it but the front of the bed as is the case on most of the 1979 Ford trucks there is a rough spot at the front because it leans forward and water is retained in that area.
This is an old Ford truck. The metal parts are solid the bed is solid, if you grab both sides of the bed and pull it doesn't move around, it's a solid truck. I have a bunch of money in the motor, the drivetrain, the transmission, they are practically new and I have a lot of money in them. So, this truck does not have far to go to be finished and showroom for a rat rod. it's a solid old clunky truck with a very nice engine transmission Drive Line, Etc. One more thing, I have the AC condenser pump but I don't have the bolts to install it, so that's something you'll need to do for the air conditioner to work but it was a sealed system when we took it Loose it still head pressure. We installed a new condenser for the AC system and we also had a new dryer installed for the new r34a. show all the hoses and everything is intact you just need to install the AC pump, which we include and it also has a serpentine and we have the electrical connector already will throw that in all you have to do is connect the hot wire and a ground wire to it, then charge it up and she's ready to blow.
