The cars were quite advanced and well equipped for the time and was the first FoMoCo vehicles built with unibody construction. The car was purchased by its current owner out of North Carolina from its second owner who had it for nearly 26 years. The engine was said to have been gone through and the car painted during the second owners time. The engine and transmission are both numbers matching.
