Description of 1929 Ford Model A

This is a complete and original 1929 A Station Wagon which has been jacked up in storage for 34 years. Surprisingly. the engine fired up using a gasoline lawnmower tank and ran perfectly. To be totally driveable. it would need a new clutch. The transmission shifts well with no grinding. I did buy a new battery and moved it from the firewall to the correct location. A new front spring was installed as was new ignition wiring. The cowl tank was empty. but I didn't want to chance getting a lot of debris into the carb. The tires are really quite good with no cracks and plenty of tread. The brakes work very well. I have an extra radiator which will cool better since the car still has its original round tube one. It comes with new seat springs. new splash aprons. new running boards. and extra original front fenders which are in better condition than the ones on the car now. Also. there are numerous extra small parts. From its history I was told that the car spent most of it's life in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where it was used in a resort. I do know the owner back to the forties. This car is a great candidate for a total restoration. Other than some new wood. everything is there. Please ask questions and/or email for more pictures.
