Description of 1967 Ford Mustang

Up for your consideration is this very nice 1967 Mustang. I built this car so that my niece could go drag racing. However, shortly after the car was completed, the track was shut down so only a couple nights of racing were ever run. The car ran a best of 12.84 at 109mph. The engine is a VERY streetable 331 stroker with ported heads, solid cam, manifold, flat top pistons, MSD ignition and distributor, headers, Holley 780cfm carb. Runs on 93 Octane pump gas and there are less than 3,000 miles since the engine and drive train were installed. Radiator is an Aluminum 3 core and the car never overheats. I have the build sheet and receipts for the engine as well as the rest of the car. Transmission is a fresh C4 with reverse manual valve body, and it shifts nice and firm. The rear is a 3.50 traction loc unit and is new as well.

The car is painted Acapulco Blue and it has been wet sanded and buffed. Very nice looking car! The only issues on the body are a few dents in the hood (my 5 year old son decided to play "body man" and whacked it a few times) and a rust bubble at the lower corner of the rear window. A few chips are present, but overall the car looks very good. The chrome on the bumpers and rear taillight bezels is excellent. The door handles and outside rear view mirrors is showing some age, but presentable.

The car comes with BOTH sets of wheels. one set of Magnum 500's and the Weld Pro Stars as you see on the car. The pro stars are on the car now.

The interior is in nice condition, no tears in the upholstery and the door panels are good. The carpet is in very good condition, the inside metal panels have been painted the same Acapulco Blue. You can see the aftermarket gauges in the pictures including tach, oil pressure and water temp. There is also an oil pressure light as well. The roll bar is a 4 point and the back seat is still usable, though difficult to get to for large people. The racing belts are 3" and 4 points. Stereo is AM/FM with CD player.

This car is FUN to drive! You can go to the local car show and win the occasional trophy, go drag racing and go fast, or just hot rod around and enjoy. All lights work, the windshield wipers function, steering and suspension is serviceable. If you have interest and have ANY questions, please feel free to ask. I have too many cars right now and need to make room for more projects. As with any car this age, it is being sold as is. I reserve the right to sell the car locally.
