Up for sale is a beautiful Ford Model A Hot Rod. It sits on a new 1932 Ford chassis built by Gary Maxwell at Blackboard Hot Rods. The chassis was pinched for a Model A and has a custom kick-up in the rear to get the stance perfect. The body is a brand new Brookville Roadster body and is all steel. An original gas tank was sent to Brookville to build the body around. That tank is not functional, as there is a new aluminum tank under the pickup bed. The pickup bed is custom made using wood and MDF but incorporates a new steel tailgate and surround from Brookville. The front axle is a new SoCal 4" drop axle with new spindles and hubs. The front brakes are new Lincoln style drum brakes for that classic traditional look. This car stops very well. The small block chevy was fully rebuilt and has very few miles on it. It has an electronic ignition and a great looking tunnel ram with dual Holley carbs. It is fed by a new electric fuel pump from Summit Racing. Lake-style headers give this hot rod an amazing sound. New Vega style steering box. This car is equipped with a three speed Saginaw manual transmission. Shifts fine. New dual circuit brake master cylinder and hydraulic operated clutch fork. Clutch and pressure plate were new for the build. The rear end is from a 1998 S-10 and is set up with Pete & Jake's ladder bars. New Posie springs were used both in the front and rear. This hot rod has new 16" powder coated wheels, with new Firestone pie crust white walls from Coker Tire. This is a great hot rod that is fun to drive and has been trouble free for me for as long as it has been running. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have. I'll be happy to take you for a test ride!
