When Grandpa purchased this truck in 1979 he wanted the top of the line. 1979 Ford F250 Ranger Lariat Camper Special with a stout 460.Living in a hot and dry section of Northern California Tehama County he parked his crown jewel in the garage everyday. The paint and panels are original and besides some dimples and blemishes she is in phenomenal shape. The 460 runs excellent and all I did was clean her up, put 4 new tires and two batteries. Everything functions properly and mechanically has no current needs. The brown cloth under the drivers side is torn and will need to be replaced for a show quality look. Grandpa was making a statement when he showed up at the dealer, hardware store, or feed store. He bought the best of the best Ford Trucks had to offer in 1979.
