Description of 1986 Ford F-350

1986 FORD F350 4X4. . 9 Diesel. xtenda-Cab. -ton"First. et me give a brief history on this Truck" This was purchased in 2014 as a project truck that we wanted to use as a hauler. We had it delivered and got it running. ut the brake lines went bad and then we set it aside to finish other projects. Our hope was to replace the whole body and have a great running truck to be able to haul cars. As one thing led to another. he truck sat and sat. until right before winter we decided that it needed too much work and were unable to find a decent body in time for winter. So we offered it for parts locally. I do want to mention that we did have this truck running and was only to move it around in the parking lot to make room for other vehicles. The truck was started and forward and reverse was working fine (as fas as you can tell from being in a parking lot). I'm just try to give an accurate description based on what were did with the truck. We decided to sell the bed (as we wanted a flatbed) and then pulled the front bumper off as it was rotted. The only other thing that was taken off of this truck was the wheels (the roll. ut don't fit right) and the Wood-grain inserts for the dash. This was our first diesel 4x4 and we just don't have the time or money to get this job done as well as pretty much losing interest. So by all accounts. this was a running truck before winter and now sits at a garage where we were going to get started on it. Please understand that it winter in Somerset Pennsylvania and EVERYTHING is frozen and covered in snow. We decided to list this today! Really red interior and is actually in pretty nice condition (other than the dash pieces being gone). It does have power windows. ut will need the motors worked on. All glass is good. We were told:The complete front clip is from an early 1990's truck and is in really good condition. s is the doors. I don't think there is any rust on the front clip all all (fenders. ood. rill. eadlight assembly). The doors do have a little rot on the lower part. ut are definitely reusable. When we bought the truck. he previous owner gave us a list of what was all done to it when he bought it. I am trying to find it somewhere in this mess. ut I do know that it had new gas tanks (yes 2) and the springs were replaced as well as the motor having some work done on it.
