Assembled from the ground up to be a SEMA show-stopper, this coupe's solid fuselage began life as high quality Minotti fiberglass that was smoothed, filled and chopped by Joe Stuben and Nashville, Tennessee's Greening Auto Company. Once sinuous and ready... to roll, that resin was coated in glossy Burgundy 2-stage that lends the car a timeless, sophisticated presence. And in May of 2012, this Ford rolled right out of the shop and straight to Classic Auto Appraiser on its way to being valued at $285K. Utilizing aluminum construction, variable cam timing and increased-flow heads, this coupe's 6.1 liter balanced and blueprinted Hemi, sourced from Street & Performance, is conservatively rated at 425 horsepower. That mill torques a tough Chrysler 45RFE multi-speed automatic, which spins a Ford 9-inch axle that's cased in a polished Currie carrier. That custom drivetrain pushes a polished 4-link suspension that's fitted with Ridetech coil-over-shocks. Opposite that 4-link, a polished independent front-clip employs 2-inch drop spindles and two more Ridetech coli-overs. Turns come courtesy of a stainless steering linkage, which swerves a power-assisted rack-and-pinion set-up. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to four polished calipers and big drilled and slotted rotors. All that first class hardware rolls on a body-matched TCI Stage III chassis. And at the corners of the chassis, silver-detailed blades turn 215/40ZR18 Sumitomo HTR Z IIIs in front of 275/40R20 Continental SportContacts.
