Description of 1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer

1990 Ford Bronco ~ Eddie Bauer Edition, 4x4 Sport Utility Truck.

We are the second owners, bought the vehicle in 1992.

183,594 original miles - mostly long distance trips.

Nice truck in good condition, just doesn't get used anymore.

This Bronco has the big 5.8 EFI V-8 engine, which has been very reliable all these years. We have never towed with the vehicle and never removed the hardtop. The transmission was replaced around the 100,000 mile mark.

There are no major issues with the truck, but the brakes and exhaust will need to be addressed soon (brakes are grabby/touchy and the exhaust is rusted through in spots). The tires are all about 5/32 tread. The windshield wiper motor is on the fritz and will need to be replaced. The rear window switch on the dash doesn't work, so the rear window needs to be lowered with the key. The driver door lock doesn't work properly. The radio works but the backlight doesn't. The current tabs are good to July 2019.

Also, anyone familiar with the Ford Bronco's knows about the rust on the tailgate (see photos). The hood and quarter panels were flaking the clearcoat back in the mid-90's and we had them re-painted. Now, some of that clearcoat is flaking off again. Ford also had issues with the paint flaking off and this Bronco does show signs of that on the front. There are some minor surface rust spots but nothing major. This is a 28 year old vehicle, so cosmetic issues should be expected.

Hopefully we covered everything - if you have any questions or want to see the truck, please let us know. Thanks for your interest!
