Description of 1976 Ford E-Series Van **Best Offer!!** Flared out 70s Custom Van No Rust |
10 grand?? nah of course not. This listing is make offer....as is. I have owned this van for 2 years now. I put the flare set and visor on (from custom van wizard Kurk Collis at customvan.com ) last spring and DVW wheels and tires on it this fall. The van's current condition (in storage) is runs, but not drivable, it needs a radiator repaired. It will be repaired eventually, for now I am offering it Make and offer "as is". I am including 2 pairs of reupolstered/rebuilt original 70s vans seats - rare ones that have bee newly and completely reupolstered. I have over $2000 into the 4 seats. They have not been used or installed since completed. you can offer with them or without. 108k miles on the box A arizona title in my name. Box A means it is documented actual milage and there is not descrepencies. V8 351 5.8L, heavy duty C6 trans and 9" rear axle and tow package with trans cooler, factory a/c. It runs great...but there is no coolant in it so it can only be run for a minute or two. No rust or repair. The milage is original box A (arizona documented with smog tests) to be original. There are a lot of photos of the van documnenting it's condition from the time i bought it, owned it, put flares on it, visor, wheels tires, carpet. About 70 photos can be found on facebook page "hot ginger ford van". If you search that in google it will also pop up. It is mechanically original Ford. No modifications besides color, Customvan.com flares/visor and DVW wheels/tires. Here in this auction the van is listed with the Turbine Mako Shark 15x10 and 15x8.5 with new Cooper Cobra/Indy 500 255/70 and Indy 500 235/60. The wheels have been fully CNC machined and powdercoated inside and out as all Detroit Vintage Wheels and the tires are new. They have zero miles on them. If you are interested in the set I will offer them up for $2400 as a package deal plus shipping. If you do not want the wheels/tires, than can be part of the deal - bring you own or I have a set of steel 10/8s to put on it that are a $1000 set of new wheels/tires. Just an option I can toss out here. It has a new battery newer alternator and starter. After a tune up, shocks, radiator fix, belts/hoses just for good measure, and look over I see no reason why this van couldnt make it any distance. The doors shut tight. It runsstrong as it is - but i have only let it run for about 30-45 seconds max - the radiator doesnt hold coolant. it sounds great. It goes in and out of gear with no problem and had driven in and out of my driveway and yard. I do not have a bumper for it! New carpet and pad was installed at a local place in AZ, - tan short pile automotive carpet - proper. There is a lot extra . A lot of carpet for a L section couch or what ever. Payment I will accept will be cash in person (prefered), bank wire transfer, paypal no fee payment (if you have paypal credit no interest). I will not accept any physical checks such as money orders or personal check or bank checks. $500 deposit is appreciated within 24 hours to show your seriouis. I currently just put it in storage until it is picked up. You can take up to 3 weeks to pick it up/shipped as long as ya pay deposit and pay for it within a week in ful. Hope all this helps. Those of you that are convinced I have a number in my head that is what i must get for it...just conceptualize for a moment that I do not have a number tha I have to have for it. International Buyers are Welcome. Feel free to ask any questions....sure some i have didnt think about. |
