Description of 1977 Ford Other |
Really nice 1977 Ford LTD II, 302-2V, C-4 automatic transmission, 9" rear. Had it for about six years and worked on almost every part of the car. I thought this one was going to be "the last one", but, in true car guy fashion I'm into a new project and need the room! These are some of the things I've done, or had done, to the car. *Factory color repaint (original special order blue-glo)*recovered front seats with correct material*vinyl roof redone (metal underneath very good)*new springs and shocks (Monroe load-levelers at rear)*new steering box from Lares*Air Conditioning converted to new refrigerant; new condenser, POA valve and compressor*dual exhaust with Flowmasters*rebuilt carburetor*Sport steering wheel*leather dash from Heritage Thunderbird*new carpets*aluminum "Power By Ford" valve covers.*Goodrich Radial T/A 235-70-15 tires on BRAND NEW Scott Drake aluminum Magnum wheels*new radiator (3 row) and heater core, hoses belts etc.*new gas tank*Kenwood CD player (dash was cut for DIN when I got the car), new speakers (Custom Autosound 2 in 1 dash speaker, 2 ear speakers*retrofitted rear window defogger(blower style)*new rear bumper*Complete brake system rebuild, with new master cylinder, calipers, rotors, drums and all associated parts, done professionally costing over 2 thousand dollars MANY RECEIPTS!!! Car comes with Marti Report, set of shop manuals. We can discuss a bunch of spare parts, if you want them. Car won "People's Choice" trophy at an All-Ford show early last summer When car was repainted some rust nibbling at the usual spots were repaired with metal. Unfortunately car has a couple of minor scratches from just having it out and about. Drivers door could be straighter. Trunk is solid, but occasionally an automatic car wash will overcome the trunk seals and get a VERY SMALL amount of water in there. One seam in the headliner has separated: an easy fix. Bottom front of drivers door panel has some vinyl damage from foot rubbing on it upon exit. CAR RUNS STRONG AND DEPENDABLE! No bad noises, no unusual smoke. I would not hesitate to drive this car long-distance. Payment by PAYPAL or cash on pickup. I will be happy to assist the logistics of pick-up, shipping, paperwork etc. |
