Description of 1977 Ford F-150 |
YOU ARE BIDDING ON A NICE 1977 FORD F-150 1/2 TON PICKUP . I have owned this truck for about 8 years. When I bought the truck it had a stock 300-6 in it and ran great. I took my kids to day care in the mornings in it daily. I got bored with the motor so I installed the following parts approximately 6 years ago. Comp cam 260H. Offenhauser intake manifold. Hedman headers. Edelbrock Performer 4BBL carb. Clifford valve cover (by the way the old valve cover had no emission labels on it. the old timers tell me that its a forged crank motor because the motor was made for commercial use) oil and transmission coolers. nothing to trans. still stock to this day. mods really woke up this motor tho. Last summer I did complete new brakes. aster cylinder including power booster. Radiator. Heater core. converted motor over to hydraulic lifters (you may want to re adjust them as they are a little loud) fuel pump. heels. ires. ignition modules so when 1 goes out you can plug a new one right in. The drivers door needs to be replaced and I have a good set of hinges for both doors I will throw in with deal. It leaks about 1 quart every week or so and rides like it was new. Steering is tight also. I just bought a new truck for camping and need money for a toy hauler so my much loved truck must go. You will be getting a good daily driver truck for the price. The spun aluminum tank in the bed is the gas tank it 10 gallon in size. |
