This 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint is a fine example of restomodding done right. It's loaded with the features you'd want in a frequent driver and comes complete with both restoration photos to document the journey to its current stellar state, as well as build receipts to back up the substantial investment that went into the process. Falcons have such a distinctive appeal to begin with - they're lean and agile-looking, and their forward inclined front ends give the appearance that they're good and ready to dig in and get down to business. The Vintage Burgundy metallic shade this one wears is certainly aptly named, and it adds a definite WOW factor. You just don't see many classics sporting a color quite like it and, while it's magnetic in its own right, it also sits under a very strong clearcoat for a nice shine and has just the right amount of metallic flake to add texture and depth. The exterior on this vintage Ford has a well-finished appearance in all respects - all of its exterior trim sits securely in place and shows no major dings or blemishes, the glass surrounding the cabin is clear and the front and rear bumpers look straight and fresh. Viewed from any angle, the body lines are nice and even, and the doors, hood and trunk all open and shut smoothly. The interior has been redone in black and burgundy and really looks great - there are just enough custom touches on board to make the surroundings distinctive without straying far stylistically from its vintage configuration. The front buckets and rear bench feature vinyl covers with cloth accents and appear to have seen only the lightest of usage, with no creasing to be found anywhere as the seating looms over the fresh black carpeting below. Up front, the dash area has been totally restored and is joined by a sizable tachometer sitting on top of the dash pad. Below, a 5-speed shifter sits within easy reach, beckoning you to grab ahold and get out on the asphalt for some fun. A Vintage Air climate control system has also been added and it's blowing hard and cold and is operated via the stock controls on the dash for a seamless look. There's also a retro AM/FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity recessed into the dash that teams with a pair of Memphis Audio speakers mounted in back to provide quality sound. This Falcon definitely has it going on as far as power is concerned. The 306 cubic inch V8 sitting in the engine bay features a whole host of top tier components, including forged flat top pistons, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and a hydraulic camshaft and lifters, and is good for 330 horsepower and a full 360 lb-ft of torque - plenty to rocket this classic forward with authority. An MSD electronic fuel injection system, has also been added to provide both adjustability and dependable all-weather performance, while chrome Ford Motor Company valve covers, a chrome alternator and chrome hood springs add eye candy. The well-equipped small block teams with a 5-speed manual transmission to provide a great "hands on" driving experience and the adjustable exhaust cutouts allow you to control the exhaust note the engine sends out. Power steering makes this Falcon an easy navigator, while front disc brakes help bring its set of 14" chrome Cragar wheels to prompt stops.
