This auction is for a 1972 Ford F100 Pickup with a 360 8 Cylinder / 3 on the tree. It has 45,120 miles on it andhas some rust in the usual places, but far less than most. The rocker panels have small amounts of body filler and there is some rust in the drivers side inner fender well but overall, the truck is very solid. It runs and shifts well, it starts up and idles like it should. All of the doors and tailgate open and close nicely. The truck has a new battery, new oem grille inserts, new rear side markers and 4 Michelin tires. The grille inserts are NOS and from a 1970 model, the hood side markers are from a F250, the drivers side armrest is worn out, but a good replacement is included with the truck, the seat has a worn out aftermarket seat cover on it, but can be reupholstered. The truck was originally from Kentucky and has had an easy life and only 45,120 miles. The clutch is original and strong, the gearbox shifts smooth. There is still some air in the brake lines from recent brake work and may need to be bled. At this time, it does not stop on a dime. The paint is not award wining, but looks acceptable. This will be a great truck for someone and it only needs minimal work. It passed state inspection 3 years ago and has only been driven 2000 miles since then. It also has the original 16" factory Ford wheels. The truck did not come with hubcaps from the factory and 1959 Ford Fairlane caps were installed in December 1971. This auction is for serious buyers only, The Truck is at my home in Westminster, MD 21158. If you have additional questions, please send me a message and I will get back to you quickly. Thank you.
