Up for auction is a very rare original & solid Southern (Always Georgia) 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet Mustang. Disassembled and in need of total restoration. Included are the Marti report that verifies and decodes this rare and highly desirable piece of American muscle car history. Original options include Mach 1, 428 Cobra Jet w/ hood scoop, Calypso Coral (orange) C-6 Automatic transmission, color keyed racing mirrors, high back bucket seats and console, rim blow deluxe steering wheel, rear deck spoiler, hood and deck black stripes, power steering & front disc brakes. Also included is "THE ORIGINAL INVOICE" from Ford to Walker Ford in Augusta, Georgia on 9-27-1969. The car appears to have the original paint. Enlarge photos and view jambs. This vehicle was last registered and on the road in Georgia over 30 years ago. The car was complete prior to complete disassembly (less the big block) in preparation for a complete rotisserie restoration. As you can see in photos someone installed a sunroof many years ago that needs to be removed. A partial floor pan section was installed on drivers front. This vehicle can be restored w/ all remaining original sheet metal. I do have a C7MEA 428 CJ engine & C-6 trans that is included in auction. I have many many parts to complete restoration. I will also offer to buyer another parts vehicle (1970 mustang Mach 1 body) 351 Cleveland car for an additional fee. This is not an auction to be the first one to kick tires and negotiate.
