1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Project VIN# 7F02C226xxx 1967 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK PROJECT from MustangBeginnings If you have ever wanted a 67 Mustang Fastback project that was affordable. This is the car! It would make a great Father and Son project. This is an original V-8. 289 “C” code car. with 5 lug suspension both front and rear. Call us if you need a different engine or transmission. no problem we have most kinds. and are available separately at very reasonable prices. The original color was Lime Gold. but the previous owner painted it a brighter Blue Green. Please see example pictures at the bottom of the pictures shown below to see how great this Mustang could be when finished. The 1967 Mustang brought buyers into the showrooms by the thousands and Ford’s strategy worked—selling more Mustangs than ever before. When fully restored. this car will easily sell for $40. 00 or more. BODY: The floors on this fastback will need to be replaced and the torque box on the drivers side will need some work as well. but the frame is straight and strong. We are including a new left and right floor pan with the car. Both quarters will need to have a quarter skin put on. which is not difficult. and we can coach you through the process. We are including a new left and right quarter skin with the car. There is no collision damage. just the typical rusty spots. Overall this Mustang is a great candidate for a concourse restoration. INTERIOR: The interior will need a little work. but not much. and it is really the easiest part of the restoration. The good news is that you can see what is needed. You aren’t accepting someone else’s mistakes or bad repairs. All the wiring. instrument panel. seats. etc. will come with the car but will need to be restored. Both front buckets seats will be included. The door panels and dash pad are available. but you will probably want new ones if you are going for concourse condition. The car originally came equiped with a sport deck fold down rear seat. and most of the pieces are included with the car but you will need the L shaped piece to complete the set. The car also originally had a center console. but it is no longer in the car. 67 Mustang Center Consoles are available both new and used on EBay. ENGINE BAY: Engine bay is in great condition. The original numbers matching 289 and automatic transmission are still in the car. We can supply any other combination of engine/transmission (351. 390. etc. ) desired. If you would rather have front disk brakes. we can add those for $1. 00. GLASS: The fastback will come with good door glass and side window glass. MISC.
