This classic car has some flaws & shows age. It was in storage for a number of years until recently. This car was owned by Rodeo legend. Mr. Corky Warren. It is a running and driving example factory equipped with the 302 c. i. 4bbl. V8 & 4-speed manual transmission. The paint and body are in good condition with some chips and flaws. There has been body work done to the rear quarter panels. notably the passenger side rear. The floor pans & rails are solid. This is an unusual Mustang in the fact that is was ordered with many GT-specific options (4bbl. 302. tachometer. 4-speed manual) but is not a GT according to the Marti Report. Here is the Marti Report for this Mustang. shown above. Many of our photos of this classic Mustang convertible were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas. Texas. The exterior was originally Candyapple red. now a darker shade of red. The paint is fair and has some chips and touch-ups as you can see in the detailed photographs. There appears to have been some repairs on the rear driver's side quarter panel. This little Mustang 4 speed 302 will make a nice project for someone looking to do some work on a driving vehicle. Open the doors to 1968. This is a factory 76B luxury interior car with the dark red crinkle vinyl & dark red kiwi vinyl. The original steering wheel is intact with some cracking around the outer rim. The interior is original and really in need of some restoration. The instruments are functional. both the speedometer and tachometer. The tachometer is original to this Mustang. The knit vinyl luxury upholstery is in good condition throughout. The cassette stereo is not working and should be replaced with something else. The door panels are intact and the door undersides are fair. The door undersides look original and have some surface rust. overall solid. Under the hood is the "J" code 302 4bbl. V8. This power plant is paired with the factory 4-speed manual transmission. The engine is believed original to the car. The engine could use a professional tune-up. but it has been running better since we have driven the car a few times. Check out our video of this one in action. The engine compartment displays original sheet metal through the fire wall. inner fenders and core support. The original identification plate is in place. The white convertible top is in good condition. power operated and functional. The trunk has a spare tire/wheel along with spare hubcaps. mat. and boot cover. The undercarriage is solid. the rear end houses 3. 00 gearing. The frame rails and flooring appears solid throughout.
