Description of 1970 Ford F-100

The Truck
For sale here is the epitome of a project truck. I've been working on collecting the parts to build this truck for years and now that I'm almost ready for "the build" I need to sell it. My loss, your gain.
I purchased this truck after somebody else swapped out the running gear to 3/4 ton front and rear. Currently, it has drums on all four corners but it comes with the parts needed to convert it to 3/4 ton factory Ford front disk brakes. It also comes with factory Ford sway bars and a steering stabilizer from a 1977 F-250.
The drive train in the truck reportedly starts off with a Thunderbird 428 or 390. I say reportedly because I've never taken the heads off to check the bore and stroke. It has truck heads but has a cast iron 4 barrel Ford intake manifold that did not come on this model. I can tell you that the engine turns, but that's all I know about it.
The truck also comes with two additional engines. I bought a junkyard FE 360 that was obviously running when the truck was totaled. It had clearly been recently rebuilt, but I don't know by whom or to what specs. I was planning to install this engine if the 428 or 390 in the truck turned out to disappoint. Later, I was gifted a modestly built FE 352 with a mild cam. The 352 was documented to have less than 4,000 miles after the rebuild. I've crated up the blocks and boxed up all the other parts off both engines. Heck, I'm even gonna throw in the engine stands I purchased for assembling these two engines!
In the truck is a New Process NP-435 four-speed transmission with granny gear. It shifts smoothly and I'm confident that it will not need to be rebuilt. I also have a spare NP-435 that came from a running, driving truck. I'm also throwing in a lightweight 3-speed toploader Ford transmission that I can personally tell you works fine.
The rear end in the truck is a Dana 60. I have not taken the cover off, but it looks like a standard differential and if I had to guess I'd assume it has 410 gears. I have another Dana 60 that looks like it has 373 gears and a factory limited slip. Lastly, I saved the 410 differential out of well-running donor truck.
The body is mostly rust free (other than surface rust), with the exception of the radiator support that's mounted in the truck. I have at least one rust-free radiator support that's included, maybe two.
Not shown but included are tons and tons of extra factory Ford parts, all the way from a grill in good shape to extra windows (factory tinted and tint free), factory and after-market AC parts, several extra drums for the Dana 60, a hillbilly gas tank that I was going to mount in the bed.
In addition to the factory 4-barrel intake, I have at least a few extra intake manifolds that I'll include ONLY IF the truck sells for over $2k. One is an Edelbrock 4-barrel (I don't remember the model, but it's not the eco friendly one). The other is a very hard-to-find 3x2 Offenhauser manifold for setting up three two barrel carbs (a "six pack"). If the truck sells for under $2k, I'll be selling these intakes separately.
I have at least two 4-barrel Edelbrock carbs that I'll include.
The truck has factory 16.5 inch wheels and barely-worn tires currently mounted. I have some good used 16 inch street tires that I'll include and MAYBE steel rims to mount them on.
I have many aftermarket parts that are also included, such as a vintage air cleaner, vintage Offy aluminum valve covers, brand-new stainless engine bolts, a chrome thermostat housing, stainless steel mufflers, and who knows what else. Unless stated otherwise, ALL OF MY PARTS COLLECTION MUST GO WITH THE TRUCK.
The Trailer
Because this is a project truck, it comes with its very own trailer so that you can tow it home! The trailer was recently refreshed with brakes and wiring, a cheap winch (that's not wired up), a tractor battery for the winch, a brake disconnect battery, and battery isolator. The wood deck was replaced with treated wood. Both the truck and trailer come with papers, but they're out of the DMV system so you'll need a one-day permit to operate for the trailer (you won't need it for moving the truck 'cuz all four tires are on the trailer). You'll also need a 2 5/16 ball to tow this trailer and truck home.
We'll need to coordinate on how to get the truck, trailer, and parts to you. /i can help some, but I'm not gonna tow it long distance. The truck and trailer are in a secure facility near San Bernardino, CA, and the other parts are in storage or in my garage. I have a small shop crane that you can use to load the blocks onto your truck and if you want to keep it it's yours.
It breaks my heart to sell all of this after working so hard to collect nearly all the mechanical and body parts that I planned to use. However, if you've read this far I'm confident that you're also a Ford nut and that you'll appreciate the effort that I'll have saved you!
